The Despagne family, which is also owner of Chateau Maison Blanche in Montagne Saint Emilion, and which has had its roots in the region of Saint Emilion for three centuries, took over the direction of Château La Rose Figeac in 1972, when she inherited a part of the vineyards bought by Louis Rapin. The 4,5 hectare vineyard of gravels and sands produces a wine of an immense elegance, one of the best Pomerol. Second wine : Les Sables de la Rose Figeac.
