Mainly Malts' focus on whisky extends beyond the Courtyard shop. Regular whisky tasting evenings are held locally with experts from distilleries and independent whisky bottlers so keep a keen eye on the news and events page. Burns' Night 2008
Our Burns' celebrations for 2008 took place on Friday the 25th of January at The Crown Hotel Bawtry and was a great success. Over 100 guests enjoyed a fine array of whiskies from Berry Bros & Rudd led by Edwared Bates.
With a three course Burns' meal excellently prepared by Chefs at the Crown Hotel, guests also enjoyed the expert pipes of Ian Ashley on arrival and during the evening together with some fine Burns' renditions from the few guests who were "lucky" enough to be invited to speak!!

Join us for the Tullibardine Highland Challenge. Enjoy a range of dated single malt whiskies from this southern Highland distillery. Taking place on Thursday 22nd May 2008 in the comfort of the Crown Hotel Bawtry from 7.30 - 10.30 pm. Tickets are priced at £25.00 per person to include a light buffet and are only available from the shop. Call in or call Ron on 01302 714700 for your tickets.
