Originally founded in 1798 by John Stewart and Robert Robertson, the distillery took its name "Aldour" from the local river, Allt Dour. The distillery remained so named until 1825 when it was re-named Blair Athol distillery. Situated in the beautiful town of Pitlochry, Blair Athol single malt highland whisky contributes to Bells and the delicious Johnnie Walker blue label blended whisky.
Tasting note: Nicely oaky, malty, nutty & really fruity notes.
